Founded by Sri. R.V. Ramani and Sri. M. Ramakrishnan, the trust has played a pivotal role in supporting educational institutions, including Sri Sankara Matriculation School, ensuring quality education rooted in ethical and moral values.

The Hindu Seva Samajam Trust is deeply involved in social service through its management of an old age home and a goshala, providing a safe and caring environment for elderly residents. The trust ensures the protection and well-being of cows, especially those that have stopped yielding milk, by providing them with proper care, shelter, and nourishment.

The trust is led by dedicated committee members, including Mr. Rajagopal (Retd. Senior Manager, SBI) and Mr.R. Sankar (Chartered Accountant). To sustain and expand these noble initiatives, the trust actively seeks support. It is dedicated to providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds.
The trust manages Sri Sankara Matriculation Schools in Thuraipakkam and Thiruvanmiyur, catering primarily to first-generation learners and students from economically weaker sections (EWS). These schools offer quality education at low fees and provide scholarships to deserving students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their learning. Additionally, the trust runs Global Schools in Kilakattalai, Perungudi, and Thuraipakkam, offering international-standard education to middle-income groups at a nominal fee, making education both accessible and impactful. Operating as a non-profit charitable organization, the trust focuses solely on the holistic development of students rather than financial gain.
