Sri Sankara Matriculation School

Sri Sankara Matriculation School, established on June 11, 2001, by the esteemed late Mr.M.Ramakrishnan under the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peedhaadhipathi Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal stands as a pillar of educational excellence in Thuraipakkam.

The school caters to students from Pre-KG through Class 10, diligently following the Tamil Nadu State Curriculum. Rooted in the founder’s compassionate vision, Sri Sankara Matriculation School was created to offer high-quality education to economically weaker sections, especially first-generation learners, ensuring they receive ample opportunities to grow and thrive.

Over the years, the institution has expanded its reach with campuses at Thiruvanmiyur - Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Thuraipakkam, Perungudi and Kilkattalai providing quality education to a diverse community of students. The school is co-educational and is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, updated computer labs with internet and multimedia facilities, and the latest educational tools, including smart boards.

The school operates under the guidance of the Hindu Seva Samajam Trust, a voluntary organization registered under the Indian Trust Act. The trust also manages the Sri Sankara Home for Senior Citizens at Panditha Medu village near Thiruporur (OMR), where senior citizens are cared for with compassion and respect, free of cost.
